How to connect
You need an avatar (create one on this site) and a viewer. Pick one of the paths:
VLBViewer (easiest)
- Download and install VLBViewer. Download VLBViewer
Windows, free, in Portuguese and English, with voice and a built-in chat translator. - On the login screen, pick the VLB Free grid from the list (if it is not there yet, add it as in Firestorm).
- Type your avatar first name, last name and password and log in.
Firestorm (or another OpenSim viewer)
- Download the OpenSim version of Firestorm. Firestorm
- Open Preferences, OpenSim, Grid Manager.
- In the add-grid field, type the address below and click Apply: login.vlbfree.com
- Pick VLB Free on the login screen and log in with your avatar.
Visit through the hypergrid (from another grid)
On the map or your viewer address bar, use: login.vlbfree.com
The arrival point is the Welcome island (login.vlbfree.com:Welcome).
Tips
- No http:// and no port needed: just login.vlbfree.com.
- First time? Your avatar may take a moment to load its outfit. Give it a few seconds.
